Gary Quarry site is located ca. 2 mi (ca. 3 km) north of Gary, Indiana, which is just 5 mi away from the Liverpool site. We collected 15 specimens  of pine and juniper at a sandpit in summer 2003 and 2005. The wood was dated between 3200-4000 cal yrs.  Stable isotope analysis of sampled wood (13C, 18O, and 2H) suggest warm and dry climate at this locality 4000 years ago.
