This project is a joint venture between Project PIs and various groups interested in Great Lakes geology, hydrology, paleoclimatology, ecology, archaeology and modeling, and is intended to improve understanding of the Late Pleistocene– Early Holocene environmental history of Great Lakes region. Furthermore, we ally with Paleo-Indian archaeology of U.S. Midwest and Northeast to improve the correspondence between environmental proxies and archaeological data.
